![]() ![]() Every boss (except the final one) is no longer dynamic like in 2016. Biggest example (of many) are boss fights. Example: You are forced to use certain weapons on enemies too kill them which ruins the famous term "Shoot at it until it dies" It's no longer "shoot at it until it dies" as you get punished for it. DOOM Eternal has, what it feels like, a fixed and static gameplay system that you can't control. The gameplay in 2016 was one of the best in any FPS, it felt fluid and amazing. Everything DOOM 2016 achived was thrown away into the garbage the world building, characters, story and somehow even gameplay. ![]() ![]() Everything DOOM 2016 achived was DOOM Eternal turned the game and the whole franchise into a joke that doesn't even takes it self serious.
